The aim of the project is the development of a complex “Digital Agricultural Knowledge and Information System (DAKIS). The vision of DAKIS is that agricultural systems of the future will be spatially and functionally diversified in order to accommodate different, and potentially conflicting, environmental and socio-economic objectives. The Digital Agricultural Knowledge and Information System (DAKIS) project contributes to this vision via the development of automated small-scale landscape-specific production systems. These systems will be tailored to the demands of society, and effectively integrate requirements for agricultural goods and services into farm planning. This will be achieved via novel and innovative digital information and management machines.<br>Towards this aim, the approaches and tools developed by the DAKIS project will be highly innovative. For the first time, production and marketing of ecosystem services (ESS) and biodiversity will be integrated through digitisation of modern planning processes. Resource efficient new labour organisation and cooperation between farmers will be encouraged via the development of a digital platform and interlinked robots. Analysis of the site-specific potential changes the agricultural landscape, including island- and patch-cropping. New concentric usage-type gradients around the urban centre will be provided via the flexibility of the small scaled management methods. With DAKIS, the agricultural management effects on the environment will become readily visible and facilitate approaches for the payment for ESS and biodiversity.<br></div> DAKIS2 <div class="ExternalClassA51F6727-9118-41A7-A500-1B91AFDECE0A"></div> <div class="ExternalClassF130E430-B2F5-4C76-9434-D5F8D9927F96"></div> <div class="ExternalClass807C36D1-3887-4269-9F63-F3C65BAB8C94"><ul><li>BMBF Förderprogramm Agrarsysteme der Zukunft</li></ul></div> <div class="ExternalClass63EEE9B2-56CC-4624-B169-CCD9AB68EA4F"><ul><li>Projektträger Jülich (BMBF-Förderung)</li></ul></div> <div class="ExternalClass0925538A-03DD-4A74-A64C-C2748CBD62F9"></div><div class="ExternalClassC65B1C5BF4374C799145929EEE9E9CCA">Ziel des Projekts ist die Entwicklung eines komplexen digitalen Wissens- und Informationssystems für die Landwirtschaft (DAKIS).
