Tasks

  • Modelling of landscape structure and habitat requirements with machine learning and fuzzy modelling for selected culicids
  • Development of dispersion models for certain mosquito species
  • Risk analyses for the spread of vector-borne infectious diseases
  • Simulations of infection spread (temporal and spatial simulations) in relation to various arboviruses (arthropod-borne viruses), in particular West Nile virus and Usutu virus
  • Provision of simulation results for future measures to control and combat vector-borne infectious diseases
