Bodies
- The
Assembly of Members is the supreme body of the Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF)
- The
Executive Board takes the final decisions on all matters concerning the Association.
- The
Scientific Advisory Board is an independent body that advises the Assembly of Members and the Executive Committee on all major scientific issues.
- The
ZALF Board, a body of senior scientists, advises the Executive Committee on cross- institutional scientific and financial matters.
- Besides the
Directorate and the
Administration, ZALF joins
three interdisciplinary Research Areas, one Research Platform, an Experimental Infrastructure Platform and several
Central Services.
- Further
committees and representatives: Works Council, Ombudsmann, Equal Opportunities Officer, representatives for doctoral researcher & postdocs, Doctoral Commission, representative for seriously disabled employees.

Funding Bodies & Legal Form
ZALF is a research institution of the
Leibniz Association in the legal form of a non-profit registered association.
It is financed in equal parts by the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) and the Ministry for Science, Research and Culture of the State of Brandenburg (MWFK).
