Back to the working groups of the research area
The working group Co-Design of Change and Innovation (InnoChange) focuses on the actors of agricultural landscapes with their values, norms, interests and knowledges as well as their actions in the context of transformation, change and innovation processes. . We work on the analysis of individual, organizational and interorganizational spatial interactions in institutional contexts, which are influenced by external as well as internal drivers (climate change, demographic change, normative models and goals). Reflecting actions of actors, our focus is on ways of design and acceptance of new approaches to solve conflicts in agricultural landscapes. Primarily considered are processes in Europe as well as in Asia (especially China, Indonesia). Transdisciplinary approaches are used conceptually and are by themselves subject of investigation.
Overall, the work aims to develop an integrative concept for change and innovation processes in agricultural landscapes. In particular, the working group addresses the SDGs 12 "Responsible Consumption and Production", 13 "Climate Action" and 15 "Life on Land".
We cooperate with the working group "Governance of Ecosystem Services" in Research Area 2 and "Land Use Decisions in the Spatial and System Context" in Research Area 3, both in theoretical-conceptual and project-related activities.
