The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) advises ZALF independently on all important scientific and interdisciplinary issues. It promotes the (inter)national connections of ZALF to universities, universities of applied sciences, non-university research institutions as well as to associations and to practice.
The SAB accompanies the professional development of ZALF through regular audits and reports to the general assembly (GA). It also supports the GA in recruiting leading personnel for ZALF and in joint appointments.
