As of April 1, 2020, Dr. Claas Nendel, long-time acting head of the research platform "Models & Simulation" and its predecessor institute, has been appointed professor of landscape systems analysis at the University of Potsdam by the Ministry of Science, Research and Culture of the State of Brandenburg. The appointment to this position was made jointly with ZALF. ZALF congratulates Prof. Nendel on his appointment and wishes him every success and all the best for his further work at ZALF and the University of Potsdam.
