Specially selected agricultural landscape sections are referred to as landscape laboratories, which serve as experimental spaces with real-world conditions and in which a long-term and resilient transformation towards insect-friendly landscapes or cultivation systems is sought. With the help of transdisciplinary methods, FInAL relies on working with the actors to develop regionally adapted and participatory solutions that take into account the needs of both the actors and the insects and enable joint learning of all actors involved in the transformation process (Co - Learning) to enable. With the findings and experiences that are collected within the FInAL landscape laboratories, general recommendations are to be derived as to how transformations can also be effectively initiated and implemented in other agricultural areas and larger scales.
