The knowledge exchange with Chinese partners continues. This January, associate professor Xin from the Southeast University of Nanjing and Dr Li from the Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences visited the Institute of Socio-Economics at ZALF. In intensive talks with extracurricular professor Dr.-Ing. Thomas Weith, opportunities for intensifying cooperation were discussed, especially with the research area „Co-design of Change and Innovation“. „By cooperating with China“, professor Weith said, „We have the unique opportunity to exchange experiences and solutions for land use challenges and to mutually discuss new perspectives“.
