Dr. Cenk Dönmez awarded Professor of Landscape Planning, Department of Remote Sensing and GIS

ZALF scientist Cenk Donmez has been awarded the title of professor by University of Cukurova-Adana in the Graduate School of Natural Sciences at the Department of Landscape Planning, Division of Remote Sensing and GIS, upon the recommendation of The Turkish Council of Higher Education-Ankara.

Cenk Donmez received his Ph.D. from University of Cukurova-Adana, in the field of landscape planning, remote sensing, and GIS. He has been working as a scientist at ZALF in the Impact Assessment of Land Use Changes working group since 2021. His current research focuses on developing and improving an open-access Long-Term Field Experiments (LTE) data platform, specifically utilizing LTE data for analyzing the effects of climate change on agriculture through spatial modeling, GIS-based cross-location and scenario analysis.​
