The Leibniz Institutes based in Brandenburg are researching the challenges of climate change in the region and working together with local stakeholders on sustainable and locally adapted solutions. To this end, a consortium of these institutes is establishing a long-term dialogue between science and social stakeholders in order to jointly create knowledge and ensure that research is geared towards real needs and supports well-founded decisions. This consortium is called Leibniz-Lab Systemic Sustainability.
To kick off the dialogue, we cordially invite you to participate in a webinar on the topics of climate change, agriculture, soil and water in Berlin-Brandenburg. The aim of the webinar is to share findings from scientific modelling on the potential impacts of climate change on agriculture and water resources in the region. In addition, we would like to consider together with you how the research results can be made more practical and how their relevance for agricultural and water management practice can be increased.
We would also like to ask you whether regular workshops and dialogues on these topics would be useful for you and how you would like to get involved in the future.
Webinar and Dialogue: Monday, July 7th, 2025 | 16:00 / 17:45
