ZALF scientist Cenk Dönmez (PB3-IMA) delivered a keynote lecture at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (WULS-SGGW) during the event “100th Anniversary of Agricultural Experimentation at SGGW” on 12 June 2026.

The lecture highlighted how long-term field experiment data from FAIR data platforms can be reused through spatial modelling to support climate-resilient agriculture and future-oriented soil management decisions. By linking long-term observations with spatial data on climate, soils and land use, such approaches can assess the representativeness of existing experiments and identify emerging environmental risks and evidence gaps across agricultural landscapes. The BonaRes LTE Map was also demonstrated as an example of how LTE information can be connected and reused through a broad European and global partnership.

The event programme also included a field visit to the Skierniewice long-term field experiments and soil data archive. During the event, potential areas of collaboration between ZALF and WULS-SGGW were discussed, particularly around LTE data reuse, spatial analysis and connected research infrastructures.
