As of June 1st 2018, Dr. Claas Nendel has been officially appointed a member of the Integrative Research Institute on Human-Environment Systems (IRI THESys).
The IRI THESys is an excellence initiative of the Humboldt University of Berlin, where the research institute was installed as a connecting element between the faculties. Here, long-term collaborative research concepts and projects are being developed on transformation processes in human-environment systems. Through the membership, Dr. Nendel ensures the scientific exchange between the ZALF and the IRI THESys.
