ZALF supports the Leibniz Association's efforts to ensure responsible and sustainable management of and open access to research data as a cornerstone of its research strategy.
Therefore the ZALF Research Data Policy (Richtlinie 01/2023 zum Umgang mit Forschungsdaten am Zentrum für Agrarlandschaftsforschung (ZALF e.V.)) was updated. It contains rights and licences concerning ZALF research data as well as handling and responsibilites. It is an important module to support researchers in acting according to good scientific practice. This policy represents a legally adequate formulation of the "Principles for Handling Research Data at ZALF" and is the basis for research data management at ZALF.
