GeoNode is an open source platform for the development spatial data infrastructures and providing spatial (research) data.
On 15th and 16th December 2022, 14 spatial data experts from different national (research) institutions (i.e. Thünen Institute, JKI, UFZ, IAGB, 52°North) met at ZALF. In the workshop, organized by the Thünen Institute and ZALF, experiences in the use of GeoNode were exchanged and current developments as well as requirements for adaptation were discussed in order to achieve synergies through coordinated developments. This workshop marks the starting point of the German GeoNode research community to further develop this project in the future. A next meeting is planned at the German FOSSGIS conference.
