On July 8-9, the "Science Days" organized by the "Scientific Group" of the UN Food Systems Summit (UNFSS) 2021 and hosted by FAO will take place virtually. The aim of the event will be to discuss and pool scientific knowledge around healthier diets and more sustainable food systems as input to the deliberations and decisions of the UNFSS.
The Scientific Director of ZALF, Prof. Frank Ewert, is a member of the Scientific Group, which was established to provide scientific guidance and support for the content of the conference. The group of internationally leading scientists was appointed by the Secretary General António Guteress.
