Long-term experiments (LTEs) are an important infrastructure for investigating interactions between soil, plants, and agricultural activities. To make the data from such experiments findable and reusable for the agricultural (research) community, our team is working intensively with scientists from several institutions to publish their LTE data.
Hence, we are delighted to announce the publishing of data from an important LTE that was established in 1979 at the TU Munich in Freising. This LTE focuses on the effect of six N fertilizer forms (calcium ammonium nitrate, urea, calcium cyanamide, ammonium nitrate sulfate, urea ammonium nitrate, and ammonium sulfate + nitrification inhibitor including at two fertilization levels and including a zero N control treatment) on N uptake and N-use efficiency of barley, wheat, and potato (maize).
