Handbuch Impact Assessment

The "Handbook of Soil-Related Impact Assessment", published by the ZALF working group "Impact Assessment of Land Use Changes", provides a collection of methods and guidelines to facilitate sustainability assessments of agricultural crop management and to contribute to a standardisation of assessments.

The 100-page book is ideal to support agricultural scientists and soil scientists in conducting their own assessments. In addition, it offers a general insight into the exciting field of sustainability assessment and facilitates the understanding and interpretation of research results. The handbook is one of the many products of the research project "BonaRes - Soil as a sustainable resource for the bioeconomy", which is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). It can be downloaded free of charge as a PDF file from the project's website www.bonares.de/services
