Postdoc at ZALF

Hauptinhalt der Seite
Petrieschalen in der Anaerobenkammer

The aim of the temporary postdoctoral phase is to help you sharpen your scientific profile and make decisions regarding your further career within or beyond science. You will write your own publications and expand your network by participating in international conferences or research stays. Furthermore, you can take on teaching activities or participate in the supervision of dissertations.

Please see our vacancies for postdoctoral staff to find out about.

Promotion of postdocs and junior research group leaders

ZALF offers postdocs financial support for participation in further education and mentoring programmes and organizes in-house courses. Start-up funding can be granted for the recruitment of own positions upon application. With the Tenure Track System we offer excellent postdoctoral students transparent and steady career paths at ZALF. Last but not least, you will benefit from ZALF's network not only in science but also in business and politics.

Postdoc representatives

The interests of postdocs at ZALF are represented by one or two representatives. They are elected once a year among the postdocs, are part of the continuous working group early career scientists and thus form the interface between postdocs and management level. In addition, they organize postdoctoral meetings and communicate with various bodies within ZALF and the Leibniz Association, such as the Leibniz-Postdoc Networknew tab icon.

Contact persons

Several boards support the postdocs of ZALF. We have compiled the relevant contact persons for you.
