We congratulate Gabriele Schiro on the successful defence of his dissertation at the University of Potsdam on 16.07.2019.
Gabriele has carried out his work with the title
"Spatial distribution of phyllosphere fungi in heterogeneous wheat fields, an analysis of abiotic and biotic driving factors" in the working group "Fungal Interactions" ( Research Area 1) within the framework of the DFG funded Research Training Group "BioMove".
He dealt with the influence of different distribution patterns of fungal spores on the occurrence and diversity of phytopathogenic fungi in heterogeneous wheat fields. Dr. Marina Müller (ZALF) and Prof. Volker Grimm (UP) supervised the doctorate.
