Einschätzung der gegenwärtigen Situation des Ökologischen Landbaus in den zehn neuen EU-Mitgliedsstaaten sowie den assoziierten Staaten Bulgarien und Rumänien. 2. Entwicklung von Kontakten zwischen Interessenvertretern der beteiligten Staaten - wie Regierungsorganisationen, Nichtregierungsorganisationen, Forschungsinstituten, Universitäten, Zertifizierungsstellen, Handelsorganisationen, Beratungsstellen, Landwirten, Landwirtschaftsvereinigungen, Verbraucherorganisationen, usw. 3. Entwicklung von Kommunikationswegen zwischen den beteiligten Staaten und der Europäischen Union. 4. Verbreitung von Wissen und Erfahrung des Ökologischen Landbaus. 5. Erstellung einer interaktiven Datenbank. 6. Erstellung einer Projektwebseite. 7. Entwicklung eines Diskussionsforums.</div> <div class="ExternalClassB093D928F4E843C085844D5D3757FCDB">Opening Channels of Communication between the EU and the new accession candidate countries in Ecological Farming There are huge differences in the historical background and the level of development among the New Member Countries and the previous EU-15 Countries, which impose different tasks and instruments for the future development. <br>The main objectives of CHANNEL are&#58; to assess and analyse the specifics in the development of organic agriculture in the New Member and Candidate Countries and to open communication channels on different levels necessary for starting the harmonisation and equalisation process in organic agriculture throughout the EU. The central instrument for the fulfilment of these objectives will be a complex data base with homogeneous information about the participating countries.
