This dataset contains more than 20 years (2000 – 2023) of data on the effect of soil tillage, crop rotation and irrigation. It is characterized by several experimental cycles with different cropping system comparisons. Soil tillage is the consistent factor.
The experiment is divided into 3 cycles:
1 – 2000-2006: investigation of reduced soil tillage (with and without plough)
2 – 2007-2018: investigation of biomass production in eight different cropping systems
3 – 2019-2023: investigation of diversification by comparing 16 different cropping systems
The experimental cycles can be analyzed separately for specific research questions and for calibrating/validating models, and the long term effects of soil tillage, rotation and irrigation.
