The Agricultural Research Station is operating at the locations of Müncheberg, Paulinenaue and Dedelow, the Main Station.

In conformity with the regionally varying land use, the work of the Agricultural Research Station, at its three locations, is focussed on studying the ecosystem of low-bog grassland, at Paulinenaue, land use on light, sandy soils, at Müncheberg, and the agricultural use of loamy soils, at Dedelow.
All three locations work in cooperation with the other researchers of ZALF. Each location has its own experimental plot.
Landscape-related investigations also rely on good contacts with farm enterprises.
