How the administration department supports the scientific work at ZALF.
 

Services offered by the administration department in its support of the scientific work here are financial management and control, human resource management and welfare, purchasing and receiving and postal services, fleet vehicle services and facility management from the maintenance of operational systems to construction supervision.

It is further responsible for the Guesthouse and Cultural Exchange Centre for international academics and the Central film and photo archive.

The administration sees itself as a service provider and strives to constantly improve their business processes.

Innovative tools are developed and implemented to support the scientific work at ZALF.  The networking with decision-makers in science, public administration, politics and the private sector is additionally encouraged.
