Hydrological area analysis

Hydrological systems analysis and modelling of water and matter flows in catchments of the Pleistocene lowland (meteorological-hydrological monitoring, quantification of components of the area water and matter balance in a spatial and temporal resolution being adequate to the problem, modelling of the path-time behaviour along relevant, especially sub-surface transport paths, discharge modelling).

Elaboration of contributions to integrated land and water management in lowland areas (temporal behaviour of water supply and demand and of matter loads, scenario analyses on the impact of land-use and climate changes, water management aiming at the revitalisation of wetlands, decision-making aids for the management of riverside areas)
