Professional skills expected are to

  • prepare and perform biological, microbiological and clinical-chemical analyses and test series on animals, microorganisms and plants
  • do basic scientific and technical jobs
  • operate and maintain laboratory equipment and facilities
  • perform biological operations such as the preparation and inoculation of culture media
  • dissect laboratory animals
  • do physico-chemical, chemical and biochemical jobs, such as the breeding of parasites and culture of plant pathogens
  • layer plant cuttings and tissue cultures

  • Use of foreign languages when doing subject-related jobs
  • Handling of working materials
  • Chemical and physical methods
  • Sampling and sample preparation 
  • Physical values and matter constants 
  • Analysis techniques 
  • Separation and purification of materials 
  • Performing microbiological, cell-cultural, molecular-biological, biochemical and diagnostic operations
