3D-View and control

The 3D-View can be used to visualize a elevation map in three dimensions. A scaling factor [1,100] can be given in P1 as parameter.

A splatter view

This splatter shows a interesting three dimensional function in the dataset. The three inputs are

• nutrition quality for a lesser spotted eagle
• the distance to possible hosting places in a forest
• the distance to wind power plants as possible disturbance (remarks: the lesser spotted eagle avoid to hunt in near of wind power plant)
• the calculated habitat quality with red color when better than 50%

The splatter technique is a powerful analysis method for multidimensional data sets.
