  • Research focus: Estimation of evapotranspiration on the basis of UAV-acquired and meteorological data. Analyses on the exploration of evapotranspiration patterns using optical, near-infrared and thermal remote sensing data of soil/vegetation and meteorological measurements at ground surface. Application of empirical and physical surface energy balance (SEB) models for the estimation of latent heat flux rates at the surface.
  • Studies on the spatial and temporal developement of biophysical vegetation parameters in the context of varying water availability in the ground and cultivation procedures and Remote sensing analysis of heterogeneous landscapes, arable and pasture land by means of UAV/UAS
