Focus of Research Group Simulation Methods and Data-driven Models (SimuMethods):​

Artificial Intelligence in Landscape Research :

  • Model development through the use of machine learning to deep learning,
  • Integration of expert knowledge into model development through fuzzy models,
  • Simulation of spatial structures and their implementation on the Zalf compute cluster.

Support tasks:

  • Support in the use of the compute cluster,
  • Support for the implementation of parallel algorithms,
  • Support in the application of machine learning in model development.
