The Institute of Landscape Systems Analysis is engaged in the analysis and modelling of ecosystem functions and services within agricultural landscapes. At the institute, methods and models are developed and implemented to improve the understanding and evaluation of processes in agricultural landscapes. This is the basis for an integrated assessment of the impacts of climate change, political decisions and societal demands on agricultural landscapes and for the derivation of suitable strategies for their sustainable development and use.
