Generation of Primary Data

Hauptinhalt der Seite

The ZALF Research Station collects primary data on behalf of ZALF Institutes as part of budgeted and third party funded research. In the State of Brandenburg, 100 ha of arable land (Dedelow and Müncheberg) and 60 ha of lowland fen grassland (Paulinenaue) are being managed as experimental fields. Furthermore, special technical installations like lysimeters belonging to the TERENO project, sprinkler irrigation, the sites for the CarboZALF project and also livestock of cattle and sheep are maintained by the research station. It facilitates long-term collaborations with farms and the support of research projects (such as BioMove) through established contacts with stakeholders and in-deep knowledge of regional and local conditions.
