At the ZALF Institute of Hydrology (LWH), work for the BMBF funded joint project “WAYS – Sustainable Technologies and Services for the Water and Resources Management of the Upper Yangtze River in Sichuan”, P. R. of China (http://www.client-ways.de/) was launched officially on January 01, 2013. The overall project - designed as a Sino German cooperation - is coordinated by the Research Institute for Water and Waste Management (FiW) at the RWTH Aachen University. On the Chinese side, universities and research institutions with grants from the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) are working on comparable subjects within complementary subprojects.

Für die fünf Planungsregionen Brandenburgs wurden von 2011 bis 2012 im Auftrag der Regionalen Planungsstellen Regionale Energiekonzepte erstellt, wobei die agrathaer GmbH an drei Konzepten beteiligt war – in der Planungsregion Oderland-Spree federführend.
